We are looking for a Client Executive for our Private Client Services team in our Langley or Vancouver office

The primary purpose of this position is to identify and pursue new business opportunities and to maintain and service a profitable book of business based on the company's objectives and individual business plans.

Your day as a Client Executive, Private Client Services  

  • Identify needs of prospective clients through research and involvement with relevant resources, utilizing team and corporate resources.
  • Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with clients.'
  • Prepare and present proposals of appropriate products and services to new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across BFL departments to strengthen PCS visibility and cultivate a robust referral network.
  • Participate in industry functions and targeted public relations activities.
  • Ensure the terms and coverages meet or exceed the expectations and objectives of each client.
  • Ensure maximum retention of existing clients by providing exceptional client service by regularly contacting clients to ensure quality service is being delivered and needs are met and exceeded.
  • Oversee the preparation of underwriting submissions and maintain appropriate documentation for various accounts and/or correspondence.
  • Produce new business through networking and various other means of prospecting.
  • Follow BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality procedures, as currently set out and as amended from time to time.
  • Maintain extensive market relationships.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.

Our Ideal Candidate 

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years industry related experience.
  • Level 2 license (insurance designation, CAIB or CIP preferred).
  • Experience with High Value Homes required.
  • Extremely detailed and precise.
  • Excellent communication skills; listening, verbal and written.
  • Must be client focused and service oriented.
  • Ability to work well independently, as part of a team and with others throughout the organization.
  • Positive attitude and a desire to grow.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond the job description.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

The expected salary for this role ranges from $65,000 to $95,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate's skills to the role.

Our Vancouver office is situated in Coal Harbour, half a block from the world renowned Seawall.
