What is the opportunity?

An RBC Dominion Securities team located in Sudbury is looking for an Administrative Executive Assistant to join their fast-growing team You will be responsible for organizing and ensuring the Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor and his Advisory Team run smoothly.

What will you do?

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor.
  • Complete administrative tasks to help the Investment Advisory team: manage office stationery orders, boardroom scheduling, preparing for client meetings and ensuring scheduling is up to date.
  • Call clients to schedule appointments, book travel and organize travel logistics; provide meeting support and act as a liaison between the Advisory Team.
  • Assist in booking and planning client and partner events
  • Help manage incoming communications from team members, advisors, and external partners.
  • Provide daily updates and bring important matters to the Advisory Team in a timely manner.
  • Organize and attend team meetings, document and disperse undertakings

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Strong organizational skills are an asset
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in an Office environment
  • A strong aptitude with MS Office products, namely Outlook and Excel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, problem solving and ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced industry

Nice-to-have

  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Experience in the Financial and/or Investment Industry
