Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating concrete pumping equipment to facilitate the efficient and safe delivery of concrete at construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate concrete pump trucks and other related equipment to transport concrete from mixers to construction sites.
  • Ensure proper setup and calibration of pumping equipment before each job.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to determine the best pumping methods and techniques for various projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist in the preparation of job sites, including building forms and digging as necessary.
  • Monitor the flow of concrete during pumping operations to prevent blockages or spills.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on-site.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques and concrete forming processes is preferred.
  • Class 1 or 3 required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and site supervisors.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
