Position Overview
**Key Responsibilities**:Job Site Preparation**:

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of concrete pump equipment, including trucks and pumps.
- Ensure job site is safe, orderly, and clear of any debris or hazards.
- Maintain clear access paths for equipment and personnel.
- Conduct pre
- and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure readiness and safety.

**Assisting the Operator**:

- Help with tasks related to pumping concrete, such as connecting and disconnecting hoses, and assisting with moving the line pump as needed.
- Monitor the flow of concrete during pumping operations to prevent blockages or spills.
- Troubleshoot and report any issues or problems with the equipment or the pumping process to the operator immediately.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Clean the pump and all related equipment thoroughly after each job.
- Assist in minor maintenance and repairs of the pump and associated equipment as necessary.
- Ensure that the pump is in good working order and ready for the next job.

**Other Duties**:

- Complete and maintain necessary paperwork, such as inspection forms, job tickets, and accurate timecards.
- Represent the company with professionalism, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and with a high level of customer service.
- Maintain a clean and orderly yard, ensuring that equipment is stored properly when not in use.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a clean driving abstract.
- Previous experience in the construction or concrete industry is an asset.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a good team player.
- Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of tools and machinery maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures carefully.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Flexibility in working hours is required, including the potential for overtime.
