Position: Short Term Occasional Replacement

Language of Instruction: French 

Location:  West Campus located at 1293 Meredith Avenue, Mississauga ON L5E 2E6

Branch: West Campus 

Start Date: Occasional as needed 

About the position:

We are looking for a number of Supply teachers  who will be on-call to work at either of our schools (elementary, and middle school).

Who we are looking for

 We recruit candidates who embrace our TFS values of integrity, discernment, respect and engagement. The ideal candidate profile is as follows:

  • Bilingualism: French & English is preferred but not required for these positions.
  • Certified teacher (OCT or equivalent) with a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.)
  • Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Ontarian programs would be an asset
  • Training and experience in MYP (Middle Years Program) and IB Diploma Program would be strong assets
  • Teacher certification by the French Ministry of Education would also be a strong asset

Minimum two years of teaching experience at different levels: 

  • Elementary : grade 2-5
  • middle school: grade 6-7

Nous recherchons un certain nombre d'enseignants suppléants sur appel pour travailler au niveau de nos écoles (élémentaire, collège ) tout au long de l'année scolaire.


La personne que nous cherchons

Nous recrutons des candidats qui mettent en évidence nos valeurs d'intégrité, de discernement, de respect et d'engagement. Le profil idéal est le suivant:

  • Le bilinguisme : Le français et l'anglais sont préférés mais ne sont pas requis pour ces postes.
  • Enseignant certifié (OCT ou équivalent) avec un diplôme en éducation (B.Ed. ou M.Ed.)
  • Une connaissance des programmes d'enseignement ontarien et du baccalauréat
  • internationale (BI) serait un avantage
  • Une formation, ainsi que de l'expérience, dans le PEI (programme d'éducation intermédiaire) et du programme du diplôme BI seraient des atouts
  • Un diplôme d'enseignant par le Ministère de l'éducation nationale de France serait aussi un sérieux atout

Au moins deux ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement à différents niveaux : 

  • Élémentaire : CE1 au CM2 
  • école secondaire : 6ème - 5ème
