Facility & Logistics Coordinator
plays a key role in keeping site operations running efficiently. This position takes ownership of site infrastructure, housing logistics, field support, and maintenance — helping ensure exploration activities stay on track and on schedule. The role is hands-on and field-based, working closely with contractors and vendors to support everything from road preparation and fleet servicing to office and core shack upkeep and facility planning. It also contributes to longer-term site improvements and future transitions as the project evolves.

About Gold Candle

Gold Candle is a privately-funded Canadian exploration company that is actively drilling and conducting exploration activities to evaluate gold mineralization present around the historic workings of the Kerr-Addison Mine, situated in McGarry Township located in Northern Ontario. Since 2015, Gold Candle has drilled over 130,000m on the property and extensive land position extending 6km along the Larder Lake Cadillac Break. Gold Candle successfully defined significant gold mineralization over the years. In 2025 Gold Candle released a multi-million ounce combined open pit and underground gold mineral resource estimate. In addition, Gold Candle recently released an initial mineral resource estimate on the newly discovered Geminid nickel deposit, validating the mineralized potential of the Company's land position.

Key Responsibilities

Site Infrastructure & Maintenance

  • Coordinate site upkeep, cleanliness and operational readiness across all facilities and storage areas
  • Oversee regular service, repairs, seasonal maintenance and contractor engagement
  • Maintain oversight of exploration fleet including servicing, repairs and damage tracking

Field Logistics & Contractor Support

  • Coordinate earthworks, pad prep, road maintenance, and access creation for drilling operations
  • Monitor field conditions and initiate corrective action to ensure alignment with HSE standards
  • Housing & Workforce Logistics
  • Manage staff housing allocations, maintenance coordination and track arrivals/departures
  • Planning & Future Site Transitions
  • Participate in facility planning and provide operational input into design, build and transition strategies
  • Procurement, Budget & Invoicing
  • Coordinate delivery of materials and consumables, review invoices and confirm receipt of services
  • Track service and maintenance budgets in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager

Health & Safety

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and support contractor adherence to safety standards
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits and ensure all work supports zero-harm goals

Qualifications

  • College diploma in a related field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • 3+ years experience in field logistics, site coordination or related facility roles
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable conditions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with vendors, staff and leadership
  • Experience reviewing invoices, managing contractors and maintaining operational records
  • Forklift certification or willingness to complete
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety, environment and community
  • Bilingual English/French a strong asset

Schedule / Working Environment

The position is 4 days on site and 3 days off or 5 days on site followed by 2 days off.

Il aide à garder les activités d'exploration sur la bonne voie et dans les temps. Le travail est pratique et basé sur le terrain. La personne travaille de près avec les entrepreneurs et les fournisseurs pour tout gérer : de la préparation des chemins à l'entretien des camions, en passant par les bureaux, la carothèque et la planification des installations. Le poste contribue aussi aux améliorations à long terme et aux futures transitions du projet.

Exigences

  • Diplôme collégial dans un domaine connexe

  • 3 ans et plus d'expérience en logistique terrain, coordination de site ou poste similaire
  • À l'aise de travailler dehors dans toutes les conditions
  • Capable de gérer plusieurs priorités et de bien communiquer avec les fournisseurs, le personnel et la direction
  • Expérience avec la vérification de factures, la gestion d'entrepreneurs et la tenue de dossiers
  • Carte de chariot élévateur (« forklift ») ou prêt à la compléter
  • Engagement démontré envers la sécurité, l'environnement et la communauté
