Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking an SAP Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be well rounded technically and involved in multiple concurrent programming activities varying in scope. This role will focus on programming activities in an S/4 HANA environment, including ABAP, Fiori, BTP, and other programming technologies.

This is a full time in-office position in Ottawa ON. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on custom Fiori programs and implement standard SAP programs to replace legacy systems where possible.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain BTP applications using SAP Cloud Platform technologies.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Work with project managers to deliver solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP programming technologies and recommend new tools and techniques to improve programming efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIEREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP programming, including ABAP, Fiori, and BTP.
  • Experience in an S/4 HANA environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and mentor other programmers in SAP programming activities an asset.
  • Strong programming skills in SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of other programming technologies such as Java, Python, and is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
