Reporting to the Vice-President of Business Development, the Regional Business Development Representative is responsible for overseeing the following tasks:
- Analyze the assigned territory and implement appropriate development plans and strategies to increase the number of retail members at Cantrex Nationwide;
- Support organic growth by encouraging current members to benefit from our full range of service offerings and incite conversion into our banners or networks;
- Nurture the existing relationships with members anticipate and meet the needs of our members to help them grow their business.
What you need to succeed
- Passionate about outside sales with a proven track record of success
- Proven experience in generating leads and closing new accounts as well as knowledge of and interest in digital marketing
- A bachelors degree in business/marketing is an asset
- Post-secondary education in business/marketing is required
- Work experience (5 years minimum) in an outside sales role in one of our industries (strong asset)
- Be based out of Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver

The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new leads.
