Parts Returns Associate

In-Person | Part-Time | Hourly | Driving Required

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and organized Parts Returns Associate to support our appliance service operations. This role is responsible for picking up unused appliance parts from technicians, packaging those parts, and completing returns using pre-generated shipping labels or supplier return instructions.

This is a hands-on, operational position with clear procedures and minimal administrative work.

What You'll Be Doing

Parts Pickup

  • Pick up unused appliance parts from technicians at designated drop-off locations
  • Transport parts safely to the office or designated return area

Packaging & Returns

  • Match parts to pre-generated return or shipping labels
  • Properly package parts to prevent damage during shipping
  • Prepare packages for carrier pickup or drop-off
  • Return parts in person to supplier locations when required, following provided instructions

Organization & Accuracy

  • Verify that the correct part number matches the correct shipping label before shipping
  • Follow provided return instructions to either ship parts or return them to the appropriate supplier location
  • Set aside parts that are missing, incorrect, damaged, or past the return date

Completion Tracking

  • Mark parts as shipped or returned once completed
  • Assist with organizing and shipping parts from office inventory
  • Support occasional inventory clean-up

Schedule & Compensation

  • Weekly scheduled parts pickups along a predefined route
  • Hourly pay plus fuel stipend for mileage
  • Personal vehicle and valid driver's license required
  • Shipping materials and labels are provided
