Company Overview

Drops of Jupiter is a retail and wholesale company specializing in high-quality crystals, minerals, fossils, and home décor. We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Web Developer to join our on-site team and support the growth of our digital platforms.

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our online systems, improving website performance, building custom features, and integrating interactive media into our Shopify ecosystem. This role must be completed on-site at our Winnipeg location (no remote option).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate website code (HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React)
  • Build website architecture for scalability and performance
  • Optimize server-side hardware/software configurations
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software and Shopify code
  • Prepare UI/UX mockups, wireframes, layouts, and storyboards
  • Maintain and improve existing applications
  • Source, organize, and design website content and flow
  • Document systems, processes, and updates
  • Collect user requirements and translate them into functional builds
  • Evaluate interactive media tools and software
  • Attend trade shows and product design events as needed

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (required)

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience

Technical Skills:

  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • & TypeScript
  • Shopify development
  • Git
  • Understanding of UI/UX and digital content optimization

Additional Requirements:

  • Criminal record check
  • Valid passport
  • On-site work capability
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • High attention to detail
