  • Assist with account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate monthly progress billings with Project managers

  • Maintain organized record of financial documents and correspondence.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external accountants for year-end financials
  • Optimize systems and workflows for office and financial operations
  • Mentor and oversee office staff; build a culture of accountability, clarity, and momentum

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration (or actively working toward a designation)
  • 4+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (construction industry or trades environment preferred)
  • Strong grasp of financial processes, payroll, remittances, tax filings, and compliance requirements
  • A natural leader who thrives on building structure, processes, deadlines, and problem-solving
  • Eager to identify, create, and implement new systems, workflows, and procedures that improve accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company goals
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
