Job Title: Punch Press Operator (200 Ton Press)

Location: Scarborough, ON

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $19 per hr

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator for our growing company. The successful candidate must be proficient in operating a punch press according to a set schedule to produce finished parts that meet conformance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate punch press using progressive transfer dies.
  • Be able to perform trouble shooting techniques when issues arise.
  • Perform quality checks, visual inspections to ensure parts meet all standards.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
  • Adhere to company policies, quality management systems, and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent (required).
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Punch Press Operator.
  • Experience with micrometers and vernier calipers is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with press control system setup, adjustment, and programming is a strong asset.
