Linux Engineer

- Manage and support AHL applications and infrastructure across
Windows and Linux
environments. - Administer and troubleshoot
IIS-hosted
and
.NET-based
applications. - Configure and maintain
secure file transfer routines
within the AHL
SFTP platform
. - Submit and track infrastructure requests including
network, DNS, firewall
, and load balancer changes. - Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests via
ServiceNow (SNOW)
queue or per project direction. - Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure application stability and performance.
- Participate in
on-call rotations
and provide after-hours support as needed. - Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in
patching, upgrades, and system migrations
as part of lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with
Active Directory
,
Group Policy
, and
Windows Server administration
. - Experience with
PowerShell scripting
or other automation tools. - Understanding of
DevOps practices
, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics). - Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mainframe and/or AS400 systems platform experience is a plus.
