Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness at one of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization by ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and presentable. This position is part-time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and floor polishing as needed
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, especially in commercial or facilities maintenance settings
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums etc
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
  • Good organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment while developing skills in facilities cleaning

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
