EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Specific experience managing a raw materials warehouse is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills required.
  • Safety awareness, trained on material handling equipment (forklifts).
  • Experience in a temperature controlled food manufacturing environment preferred.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

A successful and growing food manufacturer with a 50-year track record of success is seeking a WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR for a fast-paced raw materials warehouse in Markham. Our client offers good compensation, and a strong benefits package, with definite opportunities for advancement.

We need an experienced supervisor who can take full ownership of the inbound receiving and putaway functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The company wants to make improvements in inventory slotting and tracking, as well as other logistics processes. We are looking for a safety-conscious individual who can ensure efficient and safe use of forklifts. This could be a fantastic opportunity for you if you are a go-getter who wants a bigger scope of responsibility.
