Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and a desire to teach individuals of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction, ensuring the safety of all participants, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties

  • Teach swimming techniques and safety skills to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Develop lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized teaching environment, including pool area and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in teaching swimming or a strong background in competitive swimming.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents alike.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, or Lifeguarding is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
