Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting and be proficient in electronic medical records systems. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage administrative tasks will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental system such as Dentrix.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details prior to appointments.
- Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, welcoming, and compliant with health regulations.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist
- Familiarity with electronic dental cliaim submision particulararly Dentrix.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dental practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in office software applications and general office equipment.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
