Overview
We are seeking a skilled Stud Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the physical capability to handle the demands of the job. he ideal candidate will have a strong background in wood and/or metal stud framing and be able to work efficiently in both residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and install metal studs according to blueprints and layouts
- Assemble walls, partitions, and ceilings using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Install door and window openings, blocking, backing, and bracing
- Ensure structures are level, square, and plumb
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades on-site
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications
- Proven 3-year+ experience as a Framer is essential.
- Familiarity with power tools, nail guns, saws, levels hand tools, and construction equipment
- Experience in concrete forming and finishing is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Monday to Friday (Weekends as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
