Zurich Canada is currently looking for post-secondary students for multiple Actuarial focused Internship/Coop positions to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives.

You will work under direct supervision and perform the tasks requested alongside experienced professionals. These opportunities are part of our internship program and are also open to Co-op students.

Zurich follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week of in-person presence, which may include time in the office or market-facing engagements.

What you will do

• Provide general project support.
• Support daily activities of the department, specifically in an Actuarial related capacity
• Ability to work individually or in a team, and follow directions from your Manager/Mentor.
• In some cases, field work and interacting with customers or clients will be required
• Some interns may need to help the company with in-depth research and filing of records.

Job Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table

• Currently enrolled in a university program, and will be enrolled in the upcoming semester, ideally entering 3rd or 4th year, preferably in an Actuarial focused/related program.
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada

• Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excel and PowerPoint experience
• Self-motivated, punctual, professional and able to work independently

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is 45, ,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate's skills and experience.
