Position Overview:
Join Finning the world's largest CAT dealer. Finning is seeking a Track Press & Idler Operator to join our growing team in Regina. As the Track Press Operator, you are responsible for safely and accurately performing a variety of duties related to undercarriage repair as well as idler and track press operation.

Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely perform high quality work in a timely manner
  • Determine the reusability of components and the most efficient repair processes
  • Disassemble and assemble track frame idlers
  • Disassemble and assemble undercarriage rollers
  • Disassemble and assemble various Rail and track pad combinations
  • Relief Idler welding machine operator
  • Maintain housekeeping responsibilities of the track press
  • Maintain proper operation of the track press equipment
  • Other general duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to meet customer expectations for quality and turn round times
  • Organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Mechanically inclined, previous exposure to a variety of hand-tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self starter with a positive attitude and a focus on safety
  • Team player able to take and follow direction
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with undercarriage work and forklift experience would be assets

  • This position requires frequent lifting and significant degree of walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions.
