Position: Contract

Must Have :

  • SAP BOBJ Reporting
  • SAP BusinessObjects Administration & Security Management
  • 7++ years experiece required
  • Proven ability to lead and manage larger teams in different GEO regions.
  • Should have a clear understanding and working experience in SDLC, CI/CD, Agile & Sprint programs.
  • Ability to Co-ordination with Application and Platform teams, Hyper-Care support, Performance optimization, Unit Test & Integration test support
  • Mentor and support other colleagues and L2 team for L3 Technical delivery
  • Managing services SLAs like availability (proactive monitoring) and incident resolutions as per SLAs
  • Strong client-facing role at the customer location

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist with deep expertise in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) within the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) environment. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable BI solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BI Solution Development
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAP BusinessObjects tools (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, etc.).
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI deliverables.
  • Create and manage universes using IDT/UDT for semantic layer modeling.
  • System Integration & Support
  • Ensure seamless integration of BOBJ with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ECC, HANA, Data Warehouses).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BOBJ reports and platform performance.
  • Support upgrades, patching, and version migrations of the BOBJ platform.
  • Data Governance & Optimization
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
  • Optimize report performance through query tuning and efficient data modeling.
  • Maintain documentation for BI assets, metadata, and system configurations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with business users to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BOBJ tools and reporting best practices."
