Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse distribution, and familiarity with various warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process incoming shipments by inspecting, unpacking, and verifying contents against purchase orders.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and completing necessary documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload materials safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order picking and fulfillment
  • Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and order processing.
  • Assist in inventory counts and audits as needed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems
  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, including packaging standards.
  • Familiarity with order fulfillment procedures in a warehouse distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order processing tasks.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Join our team as a Shipper/Receiver where your contributions will be vital to our operational success

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.22 per hour
