The Opportunity
CGMH is offering a unique opportunity for youth to join our team as a Student Landscape/Gardener. This full-time temporary position lets you gain hands-on experience in gardening, landscaping, painting, and assisting with minor construction projects, all while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Please note this position is dependent on funding from the Canada Summer Jobs program and candidates must meet the criteria of the program to be eligible.

Qualifications

  • Registered full-time secondary or post-secondary student
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience using outdoor landscaping equipment, as well as experience with interior and exterior painting.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with other members of the health care team.

Duties And Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:

  • Basic gardening and landscaping maintenance
  • Indoor and outdoor painting
  • Assist tradespeople with minor construction projects
