Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Autobody Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, takes pride in their prep work, and enjoys working in a fast paced, team oriented environment that values quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Prep and sand heavy duty trucks, RVs, and commercial vehicles for painting.
  • Perform body filling, priming, masking, and surface cleaning.
  • Assist painters by ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and ready for finish.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the prep area.
  • Work collaboratively with the painting and repair teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.

Qualifications

  • Experience in autobody prep work (heavy-duty or truck experience preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of sanding, masking, and priming techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently with a high attention to detail.
  • Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.
