Saskatoon has plenty of average shops. Auto X isn't one of them. We are the newest and most advanced independent facility in the city, boasting the most service bays in Saskatoon and a fully air conditioned shop.

We specialize in the work other shops avoid: high end performance, diesel, tuning and deletes. Overview

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using advanced tools and schematics
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or assemble vehicle components
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Assist in the assembly of automotive parts and systems as needed
  • Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly

Requirements

  • Proven dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as part of routine tasks
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with vehicle diagnostics software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$54.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
