We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service. Duties

  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight to various destinations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
  • Deliveries to Grocery Stores in GTA or to Distribution centers
  • Pay is based on mileage, stops, drops and waiting times

Qualifications

  • Valid 3 year minimum driver's license (AZ) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving,
  • Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Able to use dispatching app (APPIAN)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 100 per week
