Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of LCS Camps to manage year-round administration, growth, and daily operations. This individual contributor role focuses on supporting families through the registration cycle, coordinating the use of Northcote Campus, and supporting program facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of camper registrations, including season building, session setup, data entry and enrolment waitlists
  • Travelling to recruitment fairs both domestically and internationally to promote the overnight camp program
  • Act as the primary professional point of contact while managing the LCS Camps inbox and supporting families from initial inquiry to arrival
  • Design and facilitate programming at the Northcote Campus, including camps, co-curriculars, and hosting community partners
  • During the summer months, transition to supervising a specific camp portfolio, where you will mentor and provide performance feedback to seasonal staff
  • Ensure the daily operational safety of staff and campers during active program delivery and act as the lead on facility rentals for the Northcote Campus

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative and coordination experience, preferably in a camp or educational setting
  • Advanced proficiency of Camp Brain (or regular registration software) and Google Workspace is essential
  • Demonstrated experience in outdoor education and program facilitation is required, including the practical skills to lead activities in a farm or wilderness environment
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (Education, Outdoor Recreation, or Administration) is an asset
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C (or higher); additional outdoor certifications are an asset

Start Date: This role is for a new one-year contract position, with an expected start date nearing the beginning of September 2026. The start of the position may be adjusted to early summer at the discretion of the successful incumbent of the role and the hiring leader.

The salary range for this position is $50, $60,000.00 annually.
