You will partner with a wholesaler to raise and keep assets within a geographic territory by making proactive sales calls, supporting existing clients, and conducting virtual and in-person meetings with advisors. You will find advisors' needs, uncover areas of opportunities, discuss products, and offer a consultative solution to help their clients.

- You will focus 70% of your time as an internal wholesaler supporting the main territory and 30% of your time as a hybrid wholesaler covering your own clients.
- You will partner with the wholesaler to develop, implement, and execute a strategic business and coverage plan that targets select advisors based on their segmentation.
- You'll play a critical role in connecting with advisors to highlight and support Capital Group Canada's investments and solutions that align with advisor goals.
- You will manage the sales pipeline and work with a team (wholesaler and sales support coordinator) to advance the sales process for mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs) and exchange traded funds (ETFs) opportunities.
- You have experience in conducting proactive sales calls to strategically selected advisors to build and own relationships and consistently move the sales process forward.
- Your scope will include gathering and using data, including economic, industry, and other business-related information; to incorporate, as appropriate, in discussions with advisors and coverage of the territory.
- To thrive in the role, you will execute business plans in partnership with your team, to meet and exceed expected territory results. In addition, you will evaluate results and decide adjustments in coverage strategy, as needed.
- You will use your expertise of the mutual fund industry, SMAs, ETFs and other applicable investment products.
- You have knowledge of current and possible future trends in the industry.
*Qualifications*
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a sales role in the asset management industry.
- Proven client relationship building and sales results.
- Bachelor's degree with a preference in business. MBA is an asset.
- CIM or CFP preferred.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective leadership skills.

- Vous consacrerez 70 % de votre temps aux fonctions de directeur régional des ventes internes pour couvrir le principal territoire et 30 % de votre temps à celles de wholesaler hybride pour servir vos propres clients.
- Vous collaborerez avec le directeur régional des ventes pour élaborer, mettre en œuvre et exécuter un plan stratégique en matière d'affaires et de couverture du territoire qui cible des conseillers choisis en fonction de leur segmentation.
- Vous jouerez un rôle essentiel en communiquant avec les conseillers afin de promouvoir et de soutenir les placements ainsi que les solutions de Capital Group Canada qui correspondent aux objectifs des conseillers.
- Vous superviserez le cycle de vente et collaborerez avec une équipe (directeur régional des ventes et coordonnateur des ventes) pour faire avancer les occasions d'affaires liées aux fonds communs de placement, aux comptes à gestion distincte (CGD) et aux fonds négociés en bourse (FNB).
- Vous mettrez à profit votre expérience dans les appels effectués de manière proactive auprès de conseillers stratégiquement choisis pour établir et gérer des relations ainsi que faire progresser le processus de vente.
- Vous recueillerez des données, y compris des renseignements de nature économique, sectorielle ou commerciale. S'il y a lieu, vous intégrerez cette information dans vos discussions avec les conseillers et vous vous en servirez au moment de couvrir votre territoire.
- Vous exécuterez des plans d'affaires en partenariat avec votre équipe afin d'atteindre, voire de dépasser, les résultats attendus pour le territoire. En outre, vous évaluerez les résultats et déciderez des changements à apporter à la stratégie de couverture, au besoin.
- Vous utiliserez votre savoir-faire dans le secteur des fonds communs de placement, des CGD, des FNB et des autres produits de placement applicables.
- Vous mettrez en pratique vos connaissances des tendances actuelles et anticiperez les tendances futures possibles dans l'industrie.
*Qualifications*
- Vous possédez au moins 4 à 5 ans d'expérience en vente dans le domaine de la gestion d'actifs.
- Vous avez fait vos preuves en ce qui concerne l'établissement de solides relations avec les clients et l'obtention de résultats de vente.
- Vous détenez un baccalauréat, idéalement en administration des affaires (une maîtrise en administration des affaires est un atout).
- Vous êtes, de préférence, un gestionnaire de placements agréé (CIM) ou un planificateur financier agréé (CFP).
- Vous possédez d'excellentes aptitudes en communication et en gestion du temps.
- Vous avez une grande capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe.
- Vous exercez un leadership efficace.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
