Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer who is passionate about animal care and dedicated to providing exceptional grooming services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grooming various breeds of dogs and cats, ensuring they leave our facility looking and feeling their best. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for dogs and cats of all breeds.
  • Assess the health and condition of pets before grooming and report any concerns to pet owners.
  • Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Build rapport with pets and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, styles, and trends in pet care.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering advice on pet care products.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the grooming salon.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a pet groomer with a portfolio of previous work preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various dog and cat breeds, their grooming needs, and behavior.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
  • Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately in a busy environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
