Tire Technician Job Description [ 6.months experience needed]

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a focus on tire installation and maintenance. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles by providing high-quality tire services.

Duties

  • Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs with precision and care.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as required for tire handling and installation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
  • Stay updated on automotive repair techniques and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Previous dealership or mechanic experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire maintenance.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to tire service.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds).
  • A commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.
