Tire Technician Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, particularly in tire maintenance and installation. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear and damage, recommending replacements as necessary.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tire-related tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire options, maintenance, and automotive services.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Engage in sales activities by promoting tire products and services to customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dealership or mechanic environment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installations and repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50-$35.00 per hour
