Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDA II to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and must be HARP certified. This role involves working closely with patients, providing exceptional care, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. The CDA II will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. We want an energetic, motivated, confident and skilled person for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Ability to take accurate x-rays ( must be HARP certified)
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker software systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- All sterilization and documentation
- Reception skills would be an asset
Experience
- Previous experience as a level 2 dental assistant
- Confident in your skills and abilities
- Familiarity with Tracker software is a bonus for managing patient records and efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is necessary to facilitate effective communication within the practice.
