Position Overview
Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi-disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services including piping, insulation, scaffolding, and module fabrication. We're always on the search for exceptional craft candidates to fill our ever-expanding project portfolios. ACSI is seeking experienced
Labourers
to join our industrial team to support project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cleanup work sites.
• Move materials and equipment, perform demolition, excavation, compaction activities, remove rubble and debris.
• Handle and distribute materials (load, unload supplies, equipment, tools to and from work areas).
• Support as confined space and/or fire watch.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements And Experience

• WHMIS-15 Certificate
• Confined Space
• Experience as a Labourer in an industrial construction environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
• Must have reliable transportation to site.
• Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Project: Red River WWTP
Location: 306 Highland Ave, Winnipeg
Rate: $20.51/hour
Overtime: as per collective agreement
Schedule: 5x2 with some Saturdays
Camp: N/A
