The Role:
Seeking an experienced and driven Applications Specialist with a strong background in technical sales, client engagement, and small team/project management. This is a hybrid role with an emphasis on client-facing sales, application engineering insight, and project oversight.
In this role, you will act as a strategic liaison between client and customer, providing consultative solutions, managing key accounts, leading product/system proposals, and ensuring successful delivery of complex industrial systems. You will also manage a small team of 2–3 engineers and contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of industrial clients
- Lead the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, proposals, presentations, and closing deals
- Provide technical guidance and system recommendations based on client applications and industry needs
- Manage small-scale project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met
- Supervise and support a small team of engineers or technical specialists
- Prepare and deliver presentations and demos at client sites, trade shows, and industry events
- Continuously improve internal sales strategies, reporting, and customer follow-up
- Conduct regular business reviews and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within industrial or manufacturing sectors
- Proven ability to manage projects and lead a technical team (2–3 direct reports)
- High level of professionalism, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Experience in high-pressure environments with complex technical sales cycles
- Background in industrial machinery or material handling systems is a significant asset
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 2–3 days per week
- Multilingual capabilities preferred – English required; German and French are strong assets
