On-Call Educator

Belleville, Ontario, Canada Seeds to Sprouts Childcare Center Full time

*This is an on-call position, there is no hours promised as you will only be scheduled for time off request and sick coverage.

Must be available Monday to Friday for all centre hours (6:30am-6:30pm) and flexible in working with all age groups.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Must have a passion to help children learn and grow

-Obtain a police vulnerable check (VSC)

-Observe and record children's growth and development and discuss observations with parents.

-Document and plan learning experiences

-Integrate children with special needs into the daily program

-Prepare and set up play and learning materials for the children.

-Help children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating, and sleeping

-Positively guide children's behaviour and social development.

-Maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment.

-Perform basic first aid as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.60-$24.86 per hour

Work Location: In person
