Role Description - Ontario and Alberta Agents

This is a full-time 100% commission remote role for a Mortgage Agent. The Mortgage Agent will be responsible for finding their own clients and assisting clients with mortgage applications, mortgage servicing, and providing expert advice on mortgage lending. The daily tasks include analyzing clients' financial information, preparing and reviewing mortgage documents, developing mortgage marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience


• Preferred Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong background in mortgage servicing, origination, or underwriting.


• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage products, lending policies, and marketing strategies within the Canadian mortgage landscape.


• Proficient in CRM and submission platforms (e.g., Filogix, Finmo, Scarlett, Velocity, or similar) and able to adapt quickly to new technology.


• Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to identify risks, assess client suitability, and structure deals effectively.


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills — able to convey complex financial concepts clearly to clients, lenders, and partners.


• Proven customer-service and advisory excellence, with a track record of building trust and long-term client relationships.


• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment, maintaining accountability and performance standards without direct supervision.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced brokerage environment.


• Commitment to ethical conduct, compliance, and confidentiality in accordance with FSRA and RECA regulatory standards.


• Active mortgage license with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) and/or the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA).
