Head of Product, Digital Health Platform

Location:
Vancouver, BC (In-office)

Overview

Seeking an experienced product leader to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of a scalable digital health platform. This role involves shaping a secure, interoperable ecosystem that integrates health data, AI insights, and consumer engagement tools to deliver measurable value across the healthcare continuum.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and execute a multi-year product roadmap aligned with business goals and market evolution.
  • Develop the interoperability strategy to ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR) and seamless integration with external systems.
  • Own and evolve key platform components, including secure personal health records, analytics, and intelligence layers.
  • Lead the definition of business logic and features that support B2B and B2C growth models.

2. Execution & Data Integrity

  • Establish differentiated experiences for all stakeholders—patients, providers, and enterprise partners.
  • Champion a
    Privacy by Design
    approach, defining standards for data governance, user consent, and secure data sharing.
  • Oversee requirements for anonymized data use in population analytics and predictive modeling.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related technical or health field.

Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive product management experience in digital health, health IT, or related fields.
  • Proven success managing interoperability and compliance-driven products using standards like FHIR R4 and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Experience leading AI/ML-enabled health products, wearable/IoT data solutions, and end-to-end encrypted architectures with granular sharing controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full lifecycle of B2C mobile products — from UX design and user story creation to engagement optimization.

Skills

  • Expertise in product strategy, roadmap management, and lifecycle execution.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Proficiency in AI/ML integration for clinical and behavioral insights.
  • Strength in user experience design, engagement optimization, and mobile platform management.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, data ethics, and population analytics.
