Who You Are:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the Financial Analyst will create financial reports, dashboards and other analytical insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role will be actively involved in budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis, working closely with business partners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain and develop financial and analytical reports, dashboards and performance metrics to support executive and senior management decision-making.
- Prepare reporting using tools such as Financial Reporter, Power BI, SQL and Excel.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data and reporting outputs.
Annual Budgeting
- Assist the Senior Financial Analyst in producing the annual budget for Head Office and store operations.
- Partner with business teams to provide analytical support, historical context, and key assumptions during the budgeting process.
- Act as a key finance contact during the annual budget cycle, ensuring assigned business areas adhere to communicated budget timelines.
- Maintain and update budgets in Microsoft Dynamics 365, supported by Excel-based templates.
Forecasting & Performance Monitoring
- Support periodic forecasting and performance analysis by preparing reports comparing actual results to budget, prior year, and forecast.
- Maintain user-friendly templates and analytical tools to identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist in analyzing variances and recommending adjustments to key assumptions.
Decision Support & Business Partnering
- Collaborate with non-finance departments to deliver ad hoc financial and operational analysis.
- Build analytical tools and structured frameworks to support key business decisions.
- Assist in summarizing and presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA designation or progress towards CPA is an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior, data integrity, and confidentiality.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query and financial modelling.
- Experience building reports with Microsoft Power BI, SQL and other reporting tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Capable of breaking down complex business issues in a well-structured manner to allow for clear and impactful financial analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work independently.
- Retail experience is an asset.

Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting salary between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the salary range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position. In some circumstances, the new employee may be eligible for compensation beyond the P50 of the salary range. Factors that influence this decision include full job knowledge, qualifications, internal equity, and experience in a similar role.
