Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. This role requires strong technical skills, proficiency with various ERP and business intelligence systems, and excellent communication abilities. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing our financial performance through rigorous analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties:
- Perform detailed financial analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and other business intelligence platforms to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex databases and data models to facilitate accurate reporting and analysis.
- Conduct auditing procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and other reporting tools for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on investment evaluations, research projects, and strategic initiatives within the financial services sector.
- Assist in business intelligence efforts by creating data visualizations that support decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing current processes and recommending efficiencies in financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (advanced functions), Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI; experience with SQL databases and VBA scripting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, budgeting processes, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
- Excellent research capabilities combined with strong analysis skills to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for preparing reports and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; attention to detail is essential. Pay: $76,866.47-$88,577.61 per year
