Assembly Operator

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for fabricating all types of heavy duty equipment including:
frames, doors, windows, and other similar building components.
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in Canada,
- Fabricating doors and windows with the ability to build custom doors and windows,
- Building custom cabinets and other building components using the latest techniques and materials,
- Able to read blueprints,
- Able to use hand tools and power tools,
- Measure, cut and drill aluminum extrusions,
- Install gaskets, hardware and glass,
- Able to assembly, fabrication and comfortable with weightlifting up to 50 lbs,
- Be experienced with fabrication and assembly in window manufacturing company,
- Efficiently operate fabrication equipment,
- Effectively measure material with tape measure or other measuring devices,
- Comply with all safety requirements,
- Reads and interprets work orders and blueprints,
- Operates machines, tools, and equipment to perform simple practices such as drilling, trimming, cutting, grinding,
- Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking other tasks and responsibilities as required to meet business needs,
- Independent, yet able to work well as part of a team,
- Communicate with ease in English (both written and spoken),
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of assembled products.
Experience
- 2 years related experience,
- Previous experience with aluminum and window fabrication.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
