We are looking for a permanent full time dental assistant/admin team member for our boutique, specialty dental anaesthesia clinic on Bloor Street near High Park. The ideal candidate would be team player who is caring, motivated, hard-working, and organized.

Details:

  • Specialty dental anaesthesia office
  • Provide dental care to pediatric and adult patients under sedation and general anaesthesia
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours are 7 AM - 4 PM or 830 AM - 530 PM depending on schedule
  • No evenings or weekends
  • Located on Bloor Street, on the subway line.

Responsibilities/Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Prepare dental operatory prior to surgery
  • Chair side assisting of patients under sedation and general anaesthesia
  • Taking radiographs
  • Sterilizing and maintaining instruments
  • Turning over and disinfecting dental operatories
  • Explaining procedures to patients/parents where appropriate
  • Ordering dental equipment and supplies
  • Organizing and stocking dental equipment and supplies
  • Review treatment plans with patients/parents where necessary
  • Helping receptionist with administrative tasks as necessary

Qualifications

· Dental Assisting Certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
