Position Description

Our philosophy is that every member of the Britannia Medical team has a unique and important role to play as we try to accomplish our mission: in providing preventative care, and focus on educating our patients, about their health issues and empowering them to take control of their own health. We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to function in the role of a supportive team member who shares this philosophy and can grow with us. This is a full-time position.

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, this nurse will be responsible for various administrative and patient-facing responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enhance patient care by serving as a liaison between patients and their dedicated clinical team
  • Triage and onboard new patients
  • Update electronic patient records with current information
  • Support clinicians by providing accurate case summaries and assisting them while they assess and treat patients
  • Deliver impeccable service to patients by educating them about proposed treatment plans and routinely following up with them throughout their time at Britannia Medical Clinic
  • Maintain and respect patient confidentiality at all times
  • Adhere to Britannia Medical Clinic policies, procedures and protocols
  • Various other duties as required

  • Experience with electronic medical records software (AVA preferred)
