**Part Time Temporary Educational Assistant*
St. Gregory Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4 School***
St. Gregory Catholic School in Hinton, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.

The assignment is for a part time 0.5 FTE position for mornings (AM) only commencing as soon as possible and ends June 29, 2026 of the school year.

Salary range $ $28.46 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Preference Given To Candidates With The Following Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
  • Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
  • Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
  • Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets.
  • Any levels of Early Childhood Education are also an asset.
