Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a proven track record in retail management. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage a team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, training staff, and implementing strategies to enhance store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of employees to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Conduct training and development sessions to enhance team skills in areas such as merchandising, cash handling, and customer engagement.
  • Manage payroll processes, including scheduling and time management for staff.
  • Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions and report generation.
  • Engage in effective negotiation with vendors to secure favorable purchasing terms.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.

Experience

  • Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles is essential.
  • Strong background in customer service with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
  • Experience with budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies that drive sales growth.
