Job Description:

The Manager, Intelligent Automation supports the Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence (IA COE) and reports directly to the Associate Vice President, Digitization and Automation.

To support the enterprise, we are currently seeking two (2) high-caliber professionals for this position.

This role is responsible for enabling business segment automation roadmaps, advancing TD's enterprise automation roadmap, and embedding thought leadership across the organization. It plays a supporting role to evolve TD's operating model and capability set to ensure automation delivers measurable value across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business segments to shape and support automation roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities and IA COE.

  • Translate segment needs into actionable automation opportunities that reflect TD's 4Cs (Customer, Colleague, Cost, Controls).

  • Support intake and prioritization of automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and delivery readiness.

  • Contribute to the evolution of TD's enterprise automation strategy, including emerging capabilities such as intelligent document processing.

  • Support the refinement of the automation operating model, ensuring it remains scalable, inclusive, and value-driven.

  • Identify gaps in automation maturity and work with IA COE leadership to address them through enablement, tooling, and talent development.

  • Bring external perspectives into TD by engaging with thought leaders, industry forums, and benchmarking communities.

  • Author strategic points of view, opportunity maps, and insights to senior stakeholders.

  • Represent IA COE in cross-functional working groups and enterprise forums to promote innovation and alignment.

  • Work closely with IA COE leads, segment partners, and enablement teams to ensure seamless delivery and strategic alignment.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement across automation communities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting, automation, or business enablement within a large enterprise.

  • Strong understanding of automation platforms (e.g., UiPath), productivity tools, and enterprise operating models.

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional outcomes.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and strategic planning skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
