You will partner closely with Procurement, Construction, Site operations, and Finance to maintain accurate inventory levels, streamline material flow, and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels across yards, warehouses, and job sites through regular audits and reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies to ensure real-time integrity of the inventory system.
  • Analyze usage patterns to identify excess, obsolete, or at-risk inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Track and report slow-moving SKUs and develop action plans with Construction and Procurement.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Develop short- and long-term material forecasts based on build schedules, sales pace, seasonal trends, and construction start plans.
  • Support Procurement with data required for negotiating supplier quantities, pricing, and replenishment cycles.
  • Identify potential material shortages proactively and raise escalation flags early.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership to visualize inventory health, variances, aging, and material risks.
  • Analyze historical and current data to predict material requirements and optimize reorder points.
  • Generate weekly and monthly inventory performance summaries for Construction, Operations, and Finance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Site Supervisors and Construction Managers to ensure material availability aligns with schedules.
  • Coordinate with Finance to support month-end processes, cost reconciliation, and inventory valuation.
  • Provide insight to the Homes leadership team on inventory trends that affect cycle time, cost, and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Recommend improvements to material flow, inventory controls, system configurations, and stock management procedures.
  • Support ERP/WMS system enhancements, item master updates, and standard operating procedures.
  • Build and maintain a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement across inventory-related processes.
