Job Description

Vention is looking for a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) to craft exceptional digital experiences across our platform — from 3D machine design to automation and real-time operation. You'll help define how users interact with a connected ecosystem of web and tablet applications used by thousands of manufacturers worldwide.

You'll work within a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and product managers to shape intuitive, elegant, and high-performing interfaces. This role combines deep user-experience thinking with a strong sense of visual craft and systems design.

We're looking for someone who cares deeply about interaction design, typography, motion, and clarity — a designer who can turn complex workflows into simple, cohesive, and beautiful products.

What You'll Do

  • Lead design for core flows in our 3D MachineBuilder, shaping how users design and assemble automation equipment.

  • Simplify complex technical workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.

  • Partner with product and engineering to define problems, run research, and validate solutions.

  • Deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI in Figma.

  • Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure speed, quality, and consistency across the platform.

  • Participate in user research, usability tests, and data-driven design decisions.

  • Present and explain your work clearly in design reviews, with rationale rooted in user needs and business impact.

Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of product design experience, with at least part of it focused on software products beyond websites.

  • Portfolio that demonstrates strong UX problem-solving, interaction design, and UI craft.

  • Experience designing complex tools or applications (ideally 3D, CAD, engineering, or assembly environments).

  • Strong ability to structure, simplify, and communicate complex systems.

  • Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools.

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, execution-driven environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with 3D/CAD tools (SolidWorks, Onshape, Rhino, Unity, Unreal, etc.).

  • Knowledge of manufacturing, automation, or technical workflows.

  • Familiarity with design-to-code workflows and developer handoff practices.
