About The Role:

We are looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join CJ College and AOL College. This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, content creation, and storytelling, and wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced, education-focused environment.

You will assist with managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, supporting marketing campaigns, and helping promote programs, events, and campus life.

Travel between campuses as needed to capture content, support events, and assist with marketing initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media

  • Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Create Instagram Stories, Reels, posts, and short-form videos
  • Monitor comments, messages, and engagement and respond as needed
  • Track basic analytics and report on performance and engagement

Marketing Support

  • Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and special initiatives
  • Support event promotion (open houses, graduations, orientations, info sessions, holidays, etc.)
  • Help with content for flyers, posters, email campaigns, and website updates
  • Maintain content calendars and ensure deadlines are met

Content Creation

  • Capture photos and videos on campus (students, events, classrooms, labs, graduations. etc)
  • Assist with basic graphic design using tools like Canva, CapCut, Wondershare, etc
  • Write captions, short promotional copy, and simple marketing messages

Administrative & Team Support

  • Collaborate with admissions, instructors, and staff to gather content
  • Help maintain brand consistency across platforms
  • Support other marketing-related tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and design tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Creative mindset with an eye for trends and engagement
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or social media

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in an education or student-focused environment
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics
  • Photography or video editing experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (required)
