Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver for long haul to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own vehicle and ensure compliance with all regulations and safety protocols. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to handle various driving conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance, including performing minor automotive repairs as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading cargo.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as an owner operator.
  • Familiarity with freight transportation processes and logistics.
  • Skills in automotive repair are a plus for maintaining your own vehicle.
  • Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and freight handling.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing time effectively.

PAY RATE PER MILE (INSURANCE IS PAID BY COMPANY)

SINGLE LANE - Pennsylvania, new jersey- east coast (1.90 per mile)

HIRING ONLY FOR USA (NO LOCAL)
