Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to various locations while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate heavy machinery when necessary. The Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations across our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles including trucks, vans, or specialized equipment to transport freight and materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
  • Assist with maintenance or minor repairs on vehicles and equipment as needed, including automotive repairs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse or logistics teams to ensure timely pick-up and delivery schedules.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading cargo.

Skills

  • Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 2 years Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery confidently and responsibly in various environments.
